R13 @R13 FALL 2020 RUNWAY CONTEST

Official Contest Rules: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

Eligibility: The R13 Fall 2020 Contest (the “contest”) is open only to legal residents of the continental United States and the District of Columbia, excluding the state of Rhode Island, who are twenty-one (21) years or older at the time of entry. Only entrants located in and logging onto the Internet from within the continental United States or the District of Columbia are eligible to enter the Contest. The following persons are not eligible to enter the Contests: (a) employees of Sponsor, and its parents, affiliates or subsidiaries, (b) any other entities or organizations directly affiliated or involved with this Contests, (c) all parents, agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies of any person or entity in (a), (b) or (c) above and (e) immediate family members and persons living in the same household, whether or not related, as any of the persons identified in (a), (b), (c), and (d) above. The contest is subject to all applicable U.S. federal, state, provincial, municipal, territorial and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. By participating in this contest, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are binding and final in all matters relating to this contest. 

Contest Period: The Contest begins on January 22, 2020 at 12 PM ET and ends on January 29, 2020 at 11 PM ET (the “Contest Period”). 

Sponsor: R13, 34 Howard St, 5^thFloor New York, NY 10013 (“Sponsor”). 

How to Enter: During the Giveaway Period: 
• Enter full name and email address at dedicated contest sign up page (https://www.r13denim.com/pages/fall-2020-runway-show-contest)
• Limit to five (1) entry per person 
• Deadline for entry is January 29, 2020 at 11 PM ET 
• Entries submitted using any kind of bot or automated technology will be immediately deleted and disqualified. 

Prize: Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, Sponsor shall book two (2) domestic roundtrip flights to New York City arriving in New York City on February 7th, 2020 and departing from New York City on February 9th, 2020, a two (2) night stay in one (1) room at a New York City Hotel on February 7th, 2020 and December 8th, 2020, a tour of the R13 New York Soho Flagship store with our store manager,  (all such flights and accommodations, together, the “Prize”) will be awarded to the winner (“Winner”) and the person they tagged to be divided between the winner and the person he or she tagged as Winner shall determine. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Prize is $3500 USD. The Prize will be awarded after the Contest Period. Sponsor reserves the right to change or substitute the Prize with one of comparable or greater value in its sole discretion. Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, if any, as well as any other costs, expenses, and reporting consequences associated with Prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. All Prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. All travel reservations will be made by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If Winner is unable to travel to New York City on February 7th, 2020 and unable to depart from New York City on February 9th, 2020, such winner will be deemed ineligible and another randomly selected winner will be chosen. 

Winner Selection: On or about January 30, 2020 at 11 PM ET, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from entries received and select one (1) potential winner. Decisions are final and binding in all matters related to this Contest. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. 

Notification and Verification of Winner: The winner will be notified via email. If a winner is deemed ineligible in any way or his or her winning would be a violation of any Law (as defined below), the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from a separate drawing. The Prize may not be substituted, assigned or transferred except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to: (i) verify any element of any entry, related materials or entrant’s eligibility; (ii) to request additional information; and (iii) to disqualify any entrant whose participation may subject this Giveaway, Sponsor or Sponsor’s advertisers, clients or customers to controversy, negative publicity, scorn or ridicule or whose participation would subject Sponsor to any violation of any and all local, state, federal or international laws, regulations or statutes (“Laws”). By entering this Giveaway, you agree to provide any documentation or information deemed necessary by, and in a form acceptable to, Sponsor to satisfy the above requirement(s) if asked by Sponsor to do so. 

Winner Name: To receive the name of the winner (available after the random drawing occurs, which is expected to occur on or about November 20th, 2020 at 11 PM ET), please send a self-addressed envelope stamped to: Customer Service – R13 Fall 2020 Runway Contest, c/o Web Team, 34 Howard St, 5^thFloor New York, NY 10013. 

Privacy: Sponsor will collect personal data about entrants, including without limitation your name and other personal information. Your name will be shared with those who request to know the name of the winner. Please review Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. By participating in this Contests, you agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of your personal information and acknowledge that you have read and accepted Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Except where prohibited by law, entry into this Contests constitutes permission to use each entrant’s name, Instagram handle, hometown, voice, biographical information, likeness, photograph and any statements regarding this Contests, in whole or in part, without review, approval, credit or attribution, notification or payment from or to entrant or any person or entity, worldwide, in perpetuity, or on a winner’s list, if applicable. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO SHARE YOUR INFORMATION, DO NOT ENTER THIS CONTESTS. 

Arbitration: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Contests, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contests, or the prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and held at a AAA regional office in New York, New York, (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration, and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages including attorney’s fees or any other damages, other than for entrant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with participating in this Contests), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. 

Release/ Limitation of Liability: All participants in this Contests release and hold harmless from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage of any kind arising in any manner from or in connection with, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from, this Contests or acceptance or use or misuse of any prize won: (a) Sponsor and its shareholders, parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, (b) any entities or organizations directly affiliated or involved with this Contests, and (c) shareholders, parents, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, consultants, advisors and agents of any person or entity in (a), (b), (c) (collectively, the “Released Parties”). 

Miscellaneous conditions: None of the Released Parties assume any responsibility, and shall not be liable, for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. None of the Released Parties shall be responsible, and shall not be liable, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, any combination thereof, or any other reason including, but not limited to, as a result of any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Contests or downloading any materials in this Contests. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contests at any time, including, but not limited to, as a result of any infections by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes or reason. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process in any way. No Released Party shall be responsible for lost, late, incomplete, stolen, illegible, or misdirected entries due to any reason. This Contests is subject to all applicable U.S. federal, state and local laws and regulations.
